Day 1
Two-day cruise on the Mekong, from Chiang Khong (Thailand) to Luang Prabang in Laos

- Private transfer from your hotel in Chiang Rai to Chiang Khong border crossing.
Our guide will be waiting for you with a sign from 8:30am in front of the Laos immigration office.
After completing the VISA procedure, we will go to Houay Xay pier by tuk tuk. - Then, you will board one of our luxury boats for the first time for the Mekong River cruise.
On the way, the boat will make its first stop to visit a Khamu village, a hill tribe along the Mekong River.
Our guide will explain the lifestyle and origins of these rural people.
Lunch will be served on board and during the afternoon, you will be free to relax and taste the local flavors with seasonal snacks and drinks. - The boat will arrive in Pakbeng before sunset, where you will retire to the Grand Pakbeng Resort **** with swimming pool and Mekong view for the night.
Day 2
PAK BENG – LUANG PRABANG

- At 08:00, the boat leaves Pakbeng.
Enjoy your free time in the morning to ask our guide questions about Luang Prabang and Laos. - Lunch will be served on board.
- In the afternoon, we will make two stops.
The first will be to visit the famous Pak Ou Caves (Tham Ting) and its thousands of Buddha images.
The second stop will be at Lao Lao Village, commonly known as the Whiskey Village.
There, the guide will give you information about the locally made rice whiskey, and you will have the opportunity to taste it if you wish. You will also have time to appreciate the charm of this small authentic village, its temple and its local artisans.
A typical snack and drink will be served on board in the afternoon. - We will arrive in Luang Prabang around 16:30, and transfer to your charming hotel with swimming pool in a double room.
Day 3
The must-see in Luang Prabang

- After your breakfast, our local french-speaking guide will show you the must-sees of Luang Prabang.
- On the program: visit to the temple of Xiengthong, Mount Phousi, the center of traditional arts and ethnology.
- Lunch with local colors, then visit the waterfalls of Kuang Si as well as its treetop adventure course.
- Return and overnight stay in your charming hotel with swimming pool in a double room.
Day 4
Free day then dinner cruise

- Free day, with the possibility of (not included):
· Participate in a Laotian cooking class;
· Try a traditional Laotian massage, in one of the many massage parlors in Luang Prabang;
· Rent a scooter, go around the city and try these different gourmet restaurants;
· Kayak along the Mekong;
· Visit the National Museum;
. Go paramotoring or take a hot air balloon flight at sunset over the Mekong and the Laotian rainforest. - Overnight in your charming hotel with swimming pool
Day 5
Return to the Kingdom of Siam
breakfast included, lunch and dinner free
After your breakfast our driver will pick you up to transfer you to Luang Prabang airport where you will take a flight to Chiang Mai or Bangkok of your choice.
We can also organize TGV trips from Luang Prabang to Kunming (Yunnan province in China), or flights to Vietnam if you wish.
